About the Play Years

If your days are filled with snack negotiations, nap transitions, language explosions, and big toddler feelings - you’re in the right place. The Play Years is designed for mums with toddlers and preschoolers aged 1-5, split into two supportive sessions: 1-2 years and 3-5 years. Whether you’ve just graduated from our First Year program or you’re looking for a way to connect with other mums at a similar stage, this is your village. You’ll find understanding, guidance, and space to share the highs and lows of raising little people.

90 minutes in a warm, welcoming space designed for little learners

Every week, we alternate between an engaging craft activity and a lively music and movement session to keep little bodies and minds happy.

Join us at Meridan Community Centre, 70 Springs Dr, Meridan Plains every Wednesday for a term filled with connection, learning, and fun. Choose from:
1-2 years: 9:00-10:30am
3-5 years: 10:30am-12:00pm
Your investment is $180 per family for the full term, no matter how many children you bring. The price includes weekly sessions, expert talks, resources, and access to our online community. Payment plans are available.

What age group is Play Years for?
Designed for children aged 1-5 years, with sessions split into 1-2 years and 3-5 years so every child enjoys age-appropriate play and conversation.
What should I bring with me?
Snacks, water bottle, and any comfort items your child loves. We’ll bring the toys, craft supplies, and music props.
Can I bring siblings along?
We love welcoming siblings along. If you’re bringing more than one child, we encourage you to register in the age group of your older child so everyone can enjoy activities suited to them. When you register, you’ll have the chance to share your children’s names and ages so we can make sure the space is set up for everyone’s needs.
Who runs the sessions?
Our trained Raising Mamas facilitators hold the space each week, with guest experts joining throughout the term.
What if my toddler is very active or emotional?
We expect running, climbing, giggles, and even tears — it’s all part of the age. We welcome it all and create a space where mums don’t have to apologise.
Is the venue accessible and family-friendly?
Pram-friendly, accessible parking, an onsite cafe, large undercover playground, and a toddler toilet right in the room.
