Circle of Motherhood x Raising Mamas

Circle of Motherhood is a beautiful collaboration between Raising Mamas and Clinical Psychologist Cassie Osborne, created to support mothers as they navigate the emotional and relational shifts that come with having a baby.

This is a space for you to slow down, be held, and feel supported not just as a mother, but as a person in one of life’s biggest transitions.

You might be wondering…

  • 📍 Location: Maroochydore
    📅 When: Thursday mornings
👶 Who: Mums with babies up to 12 months
👥 Group size: Limited to 8 mamas
💬 Cost: No out-of-pocket cost with a current GP Mental Health Care Plan

  • Throughout the group, we gently open conversations around:

    • Self-compassion and the way you speak to yourself as a mother
    • Parenting expectations and the pressure we carry
    • Changes in identity and relationships after baby
    • Navigating your support network (or lack of one)
    • Understanding your baby’s inner world and emotional needs
    • Building confidence in your own parenting instincts

There is no pressure to share, only an invitation.

  • A Mental Health Care Plan is something you can organise with your GP, which allows you to access support with a psychologist at no out-of-pocket cost (for eligible participants).

Circle of Motherhood is accessed under the group sessions component of this plan, which means it does not take away from your individual sessions.

  • While there is still connection and community, this group is guided by a clinical psychologist and grounded in attachment theory, offering deeper emotional support and reflection.

  • Not at all. This space is for any mother who would like support, connection, or a place to reflect during early motherhood.

Matrescence is a significant transition, and no matter what changes you’re experiencing, you are welcome here.

This space is for you if:

    • You’re craving connection with other mums
    • You’ve felt overwhelmed, unsure, or not quite yourself
    • You want support that goes deeper than surface-level advice
    • You’re navigating changes in your identity, relationships, or expectations
    • You simply want a space where you can be held and understood

  • The group is intentionally kept small (maximum of 8 mamas) to create a safe and supportive environment.

  • Circle of Motherhood is facilitated by Clinical Psychologist Cassie Osborne, who brings a deeply compassionate and grounded approach to supporting women through early motherhood.

Her work is centred around helping mothers feel more connected to themselves, their babies, and their experience of motherhood.
